Take care in Skaigh Woods – Cows with calves
There have been a number of incidents over the last few years with walkers being confronted by cows, especially when these have calves. Dog walkers have been especially at risk but anyone could find that the cows appear suddenly or take fright. They are very big, and sadly some of our residents and visitors have ended up with serious injuries, broken bones etc. Take good care – especially when walking through some of wooded paths. Do report any incidents to either Belstone or Sticklepath Parish Council.
