Clerk’s Report to Sticklepath Parish Council January 2026

General Tasks
- I have forwarded lots of emails to the councillors, and read others which proved to not be of interest to Sticklepath.
- I have forwarded the agreed Community Response Plan to Devon Communities Together.
- I have forwarded all my paperwork, emails and notes regarding the Playing Field Wall problems to Cllr Loram.
- I have given Spencer Stallion the go-ahead for the website work, and changed the domain servers for our .gov domain so that he can use it.
- I have liaised with West Devon Borough Council (WDBC) regarding the Notices of Vacancy.
- I have obtained and paid an invoice for our half of the Mobile Vehicle Activated Sign (MVAS) battery from Drewsteignton Parish Council. On 13th Dec the MVAS was with one of their councillors and would be coming to Sticklepath ‘soon’.
- I have thanked the Soup and Roll Club for their donation to the Defibrillator Fund.
- I have amended and circulated the Councillors Responsibilities document.
- I have forwarded information about co-option to prospective councillors.
- I have incorporated the changes agreed at the December meeting into the budget and added other items that have come up since then. I have written a full report of the changes, and produced a PDF version of the budget.
- I have responded to the Environment Agency regarding the flood contact for Sticklepath (Simon Thompson, National Trust).
