Sticklepath Playing Field Committee

A working group of Sticklepath Parish Council

 Membership:

  • Membership shall consist of not less than four residents of Sticklepath, of whom:
    • at least two members shall be Parish Councillors
    • at least two members shall be non-Councillors
  • All members shall have equal voting rights
  • The committee may agree membership without reference to the Parish Council.
  • A Chair shall be elected from the members of the Committee.

Quorum:      The quorum shall be three members

Meetings:     The committee shall meet once a year or otherwise as required, in any place to be determined by the Chair of the Playing Field Committee.

Terms of Reference

  1. The purpose of the Committee is to advise the Parish Council on all matters relating to the development and maintenance of the Playing Field.
  2. The Committee will consider and recommend to the Parish Council how funds that are allocated or reserved for the benefit of the Playing Field should be managed or spent.
  3. The Committee will seek approval from the Parish Council prior to any costs being incurred.
  4. The Committee will consider the needs of all the residents of Sticklepath when planning developments.
  5. The Committee will consider and implement actions necessary to raise funds for the development of the Playing Field and new equipment.
