Parish Council
· Membership shall consist of not less than four residents of Sticklepath, of whom:
· at least two members shall be Parish Councillors
· at least two members shall be non-Councillors.
· All members shall have equal voting rights.
· The committee may agree membership without reference to the Parish Council, which should be recorded in their minutes.
· A Chair shall be elected from the members of the Committee.
The quorum shall be three members
The committee shall meet at least twice a year as required, in any place to be determined by the Chair of the Street Project Committee.
1. The purpose of the Committee is to advise the Parish Council on all matters relating to the development of the Sticklepath Street Project.
2. The committee will propose the aims and objectives of the Sticklepath Street Project to the Council.
3. The Committee will consider and recommend to the Parish Council how the project should be financed.
4. The Committee will apply directly for grant funding in the name of Sticklepath Parish Council, and with their approval, to further the aims of the committee.
5. The Committee will seek approval from the Parish Council prior to any costs being incurred.
6. The Committee will consider the needs of all the residents of Sticklepath when planning developments.
7. The Committee will work directly with other agencies to further the aims of the Sticklepath Street Project.
8. All members of the committee will receive communications by email regarding the committee. All information so received will remain the property of Sticklepath Parish Council.
9. The committee will be responsible, with assistance from the Sticklepath Parish Council Clerk, for publishing the agenda for their meetings, at least three working days before the meeting, on the Council noticeboard and Council website.
10. The committee will be responsible, with assistance from the Sticklepath Parish Council Clerk, for publishing the draft minutes of their meetings, within a month of each meeting, on the Council noticeboard and Council website.
