Clerk’s Report to Sticklepath Parish Council February 2024

I have forwarded lots of emails to the councillors, and read others which proved to not be of interest to Sticklepath.
I have submitted an article to the Beacon for February.
Thanks to Cllr Wooldridge the Welcome Letter is now in the Shared Folder. Councillors can print it out and give it to any new neighbours in the village.
I have sent an email of our support to Cllr Richards and Cllr Marsh of Okehampton Town Council for the Okehampton Hospital campaign.
I have emailed Chagford Community Trust, Christow Community Land Trust and Simmons Homes as well as Alex Rehaag regarding a possible meeting about housing, but I was late in doing this. Cllr Moore has also contacted Sampford Peverell. A poll published in the councillors’ group regarding a possible meeting on 12^th February has received a minimal response, and I have not had a response regarding availability from the hall either.
I have set up Cllr Loram on the council email, but there is currently a problem with the account. I have edited the information on the website and noticeboard to include her details.
I have removed former Councillor Westacott’s details from the West Devon Borough Council website.
I have written to Cllr Lynn Daniel of West Devon Borough Council asking her to escalate action on the abandoned car.
