Clerk’s Report to Sticklepath Parish Council April 2025

General Tasks

  • I have forwarded lots of emails to the councillors, and read others which proved to not be of interest to Sticklepath.
  • When I sent the Council’s resolution regarding Devolution to West Devon Borough Council, I received a reply saying that it would be passed to their Leader and Chief Executive.
  • When I reported the Hayes Torr storage site to the Planning Enforcement Officer, I received a reply saying “We are currently in conversation with the owner of the site about a number of concerns we have there and have recently visited the site.  We will make sure to add your concerns about the size of the new sheds.”.
  • I have unsubscribed from a number of play equipment advertisers at the request of the Playing Field Committee, and subscribed the Playing Field email to others whom the Chair of the committee wished to continue seeing.
