The minutes of the Parish Council meeting held on 13th July 2026 were considered, agreed and signed as a correct record.
The Chair referred to the postponing of the LGR review. He confirmed that a local resident has volunteered to paint the village gateways. It was agreed to minute thanks to the outgoing Clerk, Julia Wherrell.

The Clerk reported that the Council’s Facebook page had been set up and was set to not receive comments. She also confirmed her resignation as of 31st Aug 2026.
Cllr Powell reported that the general consensus from residents is that the road repair work has been a success. The road markings have still to be agreed with DCC Highways. In his comprehensive report, he asked everyone be aware of dry or decayed tree branches and to report them to the local authority. He will also be conducting a 5 metre check throughout the village to ensure that large vehicles can access both sides of the village safely. The will also be early Autumn Leaf shedding/Drain checks
Cllr Moore, Cllr Farwell and the Clerk attended the networking event organised by DALC at Okehampton Charter Hall on 22nd July. The resulting report was circulated to Councillors.
Cllr Loram reported that a litter pick and hedge cutting were due to take place. A quote for the hedge cutting had been accepted.
Cllr Davies discussed the LGR reorganisation. She was also interested in the work of both the Street Committee and the Sticklepath Moor Committee. The Clerk to forward the relevant reports to her.

The Clerk has contacted Chris Booty, the DNPA case officer concerned with the unauthorised development near Tongue End and had been told that they are on the case.
