Preparations for the Work Day have been advanced, but it is still important that Councillors promote the event in any way they can, and extra hands are always welcome on the morning. We have never been able to anticipate the numbers of residents and locals that volunteer, and so the programme depends on numbers and some flexibility. With additional Councillor presence, this aids supervision and management.

Posters have produced by the National Trust and are to be displayed in the village.

The Beacon provided a page size advertisement, and the Village Newsletter will go to every door in advance of the day.

•  Draft Programme: All Councillors are requested to identify other tasks around the village or to add areas to be worked upon this February or in the future.
• Health and Safety: SPC to review, update and confirm the Risk Assessment
• Refreshments: in anticipation of NT providing cakes/biscuits, and with some tea/coffee retained from October Work Day, a float of only £5 required to cover cost of milk or sundries.

Ben has provided leaflets to advertise for volunteers to assist in the cleaning of the leat.
