STICKLEPATH WORK DAY… AND MORE!!
This year, Sticklepath Work Day is not just about helping to clean and tidy the village’s public spaces. Sticklepath Parish Council is working with West Devon Wildlife Warden Scheme and Parklife SW to transform Oak Tree Green through tree planting, the creation of new habitats, and improvements to existing habitats for local wildlife. These enhancements will also enrich the space for residents, bringing added life and colour to the area.
There will be pruning, cutting and tidying and all sorts of essential works throughout the village as well as mowing, scarifying and raking the ground before sowing wildflower seeds on Oak Tree Green.
Like to get involved? The action starts at 10am on Saturday 24th October, meeting at Finch Meadow. Please come suitably dressed with stout footwear and work gloves. See you there!
