Thermal Imaging Camera

Thermal Imaging Camera

As part of Sticklepath’s commitments to help reduce carbon emissions, we have borrowed a thermal imaging camera from West Devon Borough Council which you could use on your house.

This ‘point and shoot’ camera will provide you with a thermal image of a home or building. The image can then be used to identify potential improvements, such as requirements for insulation and draught proofing within your home to improve your energy efficiency, as well as to reduce heat loss and fuel bills.

Follow up advice could then be available to help you consider what steps you could take, and whether there might be funding opportunities to help you.

The camera is available any evening from now and into the New Year – a good time to consider where the seasonal heat may be escaping.                                                                                                                          Talk to your neighbours and you could check 3-4 houses at the same time.

Phone Cllr Derek Moore on 840316 or cllr.moore@sticklepath.org to book a time to collect.
